Hi, I'm Dr. Laura, a pediatric physical therapist, certified sleep consultant, and mom of two.

After years of working with children and supporting families, I became fascinated by the connection between sleep, development, and a child's overall well-being. Too often, parents are given generic sleep advice that doesn't account for who their child is, what stage they're in, or what their family actually needs.

My approach combines the science of sleep with a pediatric therapist's understanding of child development. Rather than simply providing a schedule or one specific sleep training method, I help families understand the "why" behind their child's sleep challenges and create a plan that fits their child's temperament, developmental stage, and their family's goals.

Families often work with me because they want more than a cookie-cutter solution. They want personalized guidance from someone who understands both sleep and child development, can adapt strategies to their unique situation, and will support them every step of the way.

Whether you're navigating newborn sleep, frequent night wakings, short naps, early mornings, or toddler bedtime battles, my goal is to help you feel confident, empowered, and equipped with the tools to create lasting change.

An 8-month-old was exclusively contact napping and waking frequently overnight, leaving the family exhausted and unsure how to move forward. The parents wanted a gentle, responsive approach that aligned with their parenting values. Together, we implemented a personalized sleep plan focused on independent sleep skills while maintaining parent-child connection. Within 5 days, their baby was falling asleep independently, sleeping through the night (or 1 wakeup), and taking naps in their sleep space for the first time.
A 2.5-year-old was taking over an hour to fall asleep each night, required a parent to lie with them for hours, and was frequently ending up in their parents' bed for the remainder of the night. The child had also learned to intentionally vomit at bedtime when limits were set, leaving the family feeling stuck and exhausted. Together, we created a structured, individualized plan that addressed bedtime boundaries while remaining responsive to the child's emotional needs. Within 2 weeks, the child was falling asleep independently in their own bed, bedtime battles had significantly decreased, and the family no longer needed to spend hours supporting sleep each night.
