This Privacy Policy explains how SlumberMatch LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("SlumberMatch," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our website at slumbermatch.ai and related services (the "Platform"). It also describes your rights and choices regarding your information.

By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you interact with the Platform:

From Parents

Name, email address, and contact information provided through forms or account registration.
Information submitted through the matching quiz, including your child's age range, sleep challenges, parenting philosophy preferences, and budget range.
Reviews and feedback you submit about Sleep Professionals.
Messages and inquiries submitted through our contact form.

From Sleep Professionals

Name, email address, phone number, and business information provided during the application process.
Professional credentials, certifications, training history, and verification documents.
Profile information including bio, philosophy statement, methods, specialties, ageranges served, pricing, and availability.
Headshot or professional photo.
Payment and payout account information. Booking payouts and subscription billing are handled by Stripe. SlumberMatch does not store your full payment card number or bank account credentials. We receive and store limited billing records from Stripe, including your subscription status, billing history, and identifiers that let us associate your account with your Stripe records.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit or use the Platform, we may automatically collect:

Device and browser information (device type, operating system, browser type andversion).
IP address and approximate geographic location.
Pages viewed, links clicked, and actions taken on the Platform.
Referring URL and how you arrived at the Platform.
Date, time, and duration of your visit.
Advertising identifiers and conversion events associated with our advertising campaigns, collected through advertising pixels. See Section 5.

This information is collected through cookies, web beacons, and similar trackingtechnologies. See Section 5 (Cookies and Tracking Technologies) for more detail.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party services integrated with the Platform, including Typeform (form submissions), Airtable (data management), Whalesync (data synchronization), Zapier (workflow automation), Memberstack (account authentication), Mailchimp (email communications), Stripe (payment processing and subscription billing), Calendly (booking), and Meta (advertising performance and conversion data). We process this data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the privacy policies of those services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform.
Match Parents with Sleep Professionals based on quiz responses and preferences.
Create and manage user accounts and Sleep Professional profiles.
Process Sleep Professional applications, verify credentials, and approve listings.
Facilitate bookings and communications between Parents and Sleep Professionals.
Process booking payments, platform transaction fees, refunds, and subscription billing.
Administer Sleep Professional subscription tiers, including billing, renewal, and cancellation.
Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, review requests, account updates, billing notices).
Send marketing communications (with your consent, and with the ability to opt outat any time).
Measure the performance of our advertising and marketing campaigns.
Display reviews on Sleep Professional profiles.
Monitor and enforce compliance with our Terms of Service.
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
Analyze usage trends to improve matching quality, user experience, and Platform features.
Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations and respond to lawful requests.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the followingcircumstances:

3.1 Between Users

When a Parent completes a matching quiz or initiates a booking, relevant information (such as the child's age range and sleep challenge) may be shared with the matched Sleep Professional to facilitate the engagement. Sleep Professional profiles, including name, credentials, bio, and reviews, are publicly visible on the Platform.

3.2 Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform, including hosting (Webflow), data management (Airtable), data synchronization (Whalesync), payment processing and subscription billing (Stripe), email services (Mailchimp), form processing (Typeform), authentication (Memberstack), image hosting (Cloudinary), workflow automation (Zapier), advertising platforms (Meta), and analytics tools. These providers are contractually required to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, prevent fraud, or protect the safety of our Users or the public.

3.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have regarding your information.

3.5 With Your Consent

We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed toprovide you with services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforceour agreements.

If you close your account or request deletion of your data, we will delete or anonymize yourpersonal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required by lawto retain it or where retention is necessary to protect our legitimate interests (such aspreventing fraud or resolving disputes).

Transaction, subscription, and billing records are retained for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, and financial recordkeeping laws, which may extend beyond the closure of your account.

Reviews may be retained in anonymized form after account deletion to preserve theintegrity of the review system.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Platform. These include:

Essential cookies: Required for the Platform to function (authentication, security, session management).
Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with the Platform so we can improve the user experience.
Advertising and marketing cookies and pixels: Used to deliver relevant communications, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and understand which advertisements lead people to the Platform.

We use the Meta Pixel on the Platform. The Meta Pixel records certain actions you take on our site, such as visiting a page or completing the matching quiz, and transmits that information to Meta. Meta may use this information to measure the performance of our advertising and to show our advertisements to people who have visited the Platform or who resemble our visitors. Meta's handling of this information is governed by Meta's own privacy policy.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform. You may also limit advertising personalization through your Meta account settings, or through general advertising opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out page.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personalinformation:

6.1 Access and Portability

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you in a structured,commonly used, and machine-readable format.

6.2 Correction

You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

6.3 Deletion

You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.

6.4 Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money.

We use advertising pixels, including the Meta Pixel, which transmit information about your activity on the Platform to advertising partners so that we can measure and target our advertising. Under some state privacy laws, this activity is treated as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You may opt out of this sharing by disabling advertising or marketing cookies in your browser, by using a browser or extension that transmits a Global Privacy Control signal, or by contacting us at hello@slumbermatch.ai. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where technically feasible.

6.5 Marketing Communications

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly. Transactional emails related to your account or bookings are not subject to opt-out.

6.6 Exercising Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@slumbermatch.ai. We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 30 to 45 days). We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.

7. State-Specific Privacy Rights

7.1 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California ConsumerPrivacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell.
The right to delete your personal information.
The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. We do share limited information with advertising partners through advertising pixels, as described in Sections 5 and 6.4, and you may opt out as described there.
The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
The right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

7.2 Residents of Other U.S. States

If you reside in a state with an applicable consumer privacy law (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, and others), you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of your personal information. 8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for use by adults (18 years of age and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. While Parents may share general information about their child's age range and sleep challenges through the matching quiz, we do not collect children's names, contact information, or other directly identifying information.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at hello@slumbermatch.ai with subject “Children’s Privacy”and we will take steps to delete it.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you become aware of a security vulnerability or suspect unauthorized access to your account, please contact us immediately.

11. International Users

SlumberMatch is based in the United States, and the information we collect is stored and processed in the United States.

If you access the Platform from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country of residence.

If you are located in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or another jurisdiction with comparable data protection law, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability. Where we rely on consent as the basis for processing, you may withdraw that consent at any time. 12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the Platform.
