Sleep is the most searched, most stressful topic in parenting. We built a better way to find help.

About SlumberMatch

Before SlumberMatch, I spent my career as a startup executive building go-to-market teams in deep tech. Strategy, operations, scaling things that did not yet have a playbook. I was good at figuring out where systems were broken and building something better.

Then I had a baby. I started my first job out of business school pregnant, returned to work on minimal sleep, and spent what felt like every spare hour bouncing my daughter on an exercise ball just to get her down for a nap. We eventually found a sleep consultant through a personal recommendation, and it changed everything. We would pay for it again without hesitating. But I found out later we had paid roughly three times the going rate, with no way to have known that, and no real way to have found her without being lucky enough to know the right person.

That stuck with me. Finding qualified sleep help still comes down to luck, word of mouth, and too many open browser tabs. There is no trusted, searchable marketplace where parents can compare vetted professionals by method, specialty, or price.

And the more I researched, the more I realized how much I did not know. Our situation was straightforward. Healthy baby, no complications, just a family that needed help getting sleep on track. But many families are navigating something more complex: twins, reflux, sensory processing differences, neurodivergent children, premature birth, adoption and attachment, or older kids with entrenched sleep patterns. Consultants specialize in these areas, and they are very good at what they do. Most parents have no idea this level of specialization exists, let alone how to find the right person for their specific situation.

SlumberMatch exists to fix that. Vetted professionals, transparent pricing, and a match that fits your child, your values, and your family’s specific circumstances. Whether your situation is simple or complex, finding the right consultant should take minutes, not months.

The problem is on both sides

I built SlumberMatch as a marketplace because this is not just a parent problem. There are incredibly skilled sleep professionals growing their practices one Instagram post at a time. The vast majority say their biggest challenge is getting a steady flow of new clients. They became consultants to help families, and they spend a disproportionate amount of their time on marketing, content creation, and discovery calls with families who are not the right fit.

These professionals deserve a platform that works as hard for them as they work for their clients. SlumberMatch matches consultants to families who have already told us what they are looking for, so the parents who reach out are aligned on method, age range, and budget before the first conversation. That means fewer mismatched consultations, less time selling, and more time doing the work they care about.

Mission Statement

SlumberMatch exists to close the gap between parents who need sleep help and professionals who provide it. Not by listing every consultant on the internet, but by making the right match fast.

We vet every professional on the platform. We match on what actually matters: your child’s age, your family’s philosophy, your budget, and your timeline.

Sleep deprivation is real. Every family’s situation is different, and so is the help they need. The right consultant is out there. We make sure you find each other.
