Salomé Puren

Hello there!
I’m a former sleep-deprived mom of two boys. One was a natural sleeper from day one. The other was up every 1-2 hours for his entire first year, so I know first-hand what that kind of sleep deprivation does to a family.

When I needed to return to full-time work, I finally reached out to a sleep consultant colleague and learned how to gently teach my son the skill of falling asleep on his own. Going from a year of broken nights to real, restorative sleep is what led me to get certified and start helping other exhausted parents do the same.

As a South African, currently living in Germany, I understand what it's like to navigate parenthood far from home and familiar support systems. Wherever you're starting from, you don't have to do it on your own.
I don't believe in one method for every family. I focus on teaching little ones how to fall asleep independently, using approaches that range from gradual to modified methods that stay responsive to your little one. I meet you where you are, and together we'll choose a method that fits your child's temperament and your family's comfort level.
My philosophy

Every family deserves a sleep plan built around who they are, not a rigid formula. I meet you where you are and guide you toward an approach you feel good about.

Frequent Night Waking
5-month-old had false starts and multiple wake ups during the night. Baby fed for comfort every hour. Mom wanted no crying and a gentle approach. Over 2 weeks, we used a gradual method and he learned to connect his sleep cycles. He now has no false starts, feeds a maximum of 2x a night and has given mom the longest stretch of sleep (which was 8 hours) all without shedding a tear.
Toddler Transition
19-month-old was fed and held to sleep. Mom found bedtime hard when she was home alone with 2 kids. In the evenings, she needed to find ways to gently put him down without waking up repeatedly. After just a few nights, mom was able to give her son his bottle, say goodnight and leave the room. There were no tears and she was speechless. She now has more time to spend on relaxing in the evenings or finishing up chores.
